Gratitude Makes Living Good

Draw up your list … all the people who you owe thanks to. Add in people you don’t owe thanks to. Figure out some reason to thank them, anyway. Then write a brief, heart-felt “Thank-you” note and mail it. Send out one a day.

This strategy is quick, simple, easy to do. It makes an impression on your market. But first, it makes an impression on you. You can’t help but have “gratitude” front and center in your heart when you are thanking people. The more gratitude you feel, the more inner peace you will feel. And that certainly puts you in the correct frame of mind for network marketing.

So write down some names. Then write down some categories - family, friends, mentors, team members, prospects, teachers, those you admire but have never met. That’s a start.

I think you’re best to not completely commercialize your gratitude. Sure, you want to thank those who could also help your MLM business in the future … but to get maximum benefit for your own attitude, spend just as much time thanking those who have no connection to your business and probably never will. It just puts you in the right frame of mind.

This is a good “to-do” to start your morning with, to get your mind off on the right foot of “gratitude” thinking. This also bolsters your attitude and makes it much more difficult for you to slip into negative thinking. When you don’t acknowledge the contribution others have made to your success & happiness, it’s a short step to thinking that you have no success & happiness. That declines rapidly into resentment and frustration. And obviously, it’s totally unproductive to go down THAT road, so let’s don’t.

This little exercise helps you start every day by focusing on what is good in your life. And when you think of that special person to thank, and you’re in the “gratitude” frame of mind, other faces will pop into your head. Add them to your list. Plus, you’ll start to think of other things you are grateful for.

How could a day that started like that EVER turn into anything but a great day?

Are You "In" The Fire?

For me this is the difference between achieving ALL that burns within me or choosing to roll with the punches, taking the easy way. I know it’s about the Slight Edge Philosophy, doing the simple things over a consistent basis. Is this easy to do? Yes, but also easy not to do and that is what kills us. The idea and the truth that we need to ask ourselves is if we improve our lifestyle by a sliver of a percent each day, what will be the result over a year period of time? Did you know that you can and will accelerate your success by a 100% if not more if you do those simple things that compounded over time will create total abundance and success?

I believe that it is vital to have a mastermind group that is committed to your success for a lifetime. That mastermind family is the “Fire” I am speaking of! I am a “blue” personality and for those who are not familiar with a blue personality, we are definitely the life of the party. We love to have fun. What can hurt us is when it comes to getting focused; we have to fight like a fish hooked to a huge hook. Avoiding distractions is critical. My mentor Michael Dlouhy taught me that if you can get a “Blue” focused, they will Own Their Life within 2 years. The key that will unlock the door to total freedom is FOCUS! It can be so straining at times because we want so badly to be Free, but our minds are working on overload to a point where we have a hard time being productive in any area of our life. It’s not a pretty place. Easily distracted and constantly beating ourselves up for loosing focus on our dream. Can anyone relate?

This is where it becomes critical in having a consistent mastermind group that is committed to your success. Plug in everyday! Don’t fall into the trap where you think you have heard it all. I guarantee that you will never hear it too much. It’s like the air I breathe, it’s vital. Stay “in” the fire, not spontaneously but almost at a level of obsession. Leaders’ are always becoming more, we never arrive at a destination because we are always striving to learn and become more than who we are today. Leaders are always hungry for growth and further enhancement in all areas of life. For me this is life or death. I choose life! If you have a consistent mastermind family, stay as near to the fire as you can. I recommend staying “in” the fire! Do not fall into the lie that you know everything, you have heard this all before. Each of us must go through a process of preparation. We are like a diamond getting polished, the end result will take your breathe away! Simply beautiful!

I have learned that the key to network marketing is Skills. We have to learn the skills to be successful in amazing industry. Leaders’ are lifetime students, who are on an infinite journey to become ALL that they have been called to be. Leaders’ never arrive because they are always striving to become more. About 8 months ago I found a mastermind group who teaches the skills we need to be extremely successful in ANY business. The unique part about this group is that they provide some of the best training on learning ALL the necessary skills that network marketing professionals’ would ever need to be successful. Here was a group of like-minded individuals who take care of one another, without an agenda. This was quite interesting to me, considering I love helping others. Action Conquers Fear

Action conquers fear! This makes complete sense, doesn’t it? Fear can suck the life right out of you like a thirsty mosquito in Minnesota. Fear is a lie that haunts each of us at times in our life. Whether it is fear of poverty, criticism, sickness or perhaps it is fear of loosing someone you love, fear of getting older or fear of death we can win the war on fear in every area of our life. Action will flush fear down the toilet and inevitably your results will be victorious! Take action! If I were in fear of poverty I would want to create some slight edge behaviors in life that when compounded over time would bring favorable results. For example, I would make a commitment to reading 10 pages a day of a good book that is based on prosperity, abundance or a book that will empower me to become more. Any circumstance that could lead to poverty will be totally eliminated from life. Dare to dream?

Getting specific about what burns within us is critical. We must develop a huge “Why!” Dream unrealistic dreams! Many precious people have forgotten their dreams since their early childhood. They don’t see it even possible to live any dream. There will always be people who need their dreams set on fire! Taking action daily in kindling that dream is critical. Action will remove any fear that has kept you from your dreams!

Next, we must have a plan which is made up of the action steps that will be taken which will produce fruitful results. This could be taking a money management study or attending a personal growth conference. There must be a definite plan blended with action to accumulating riches. I know how destructive criticism can be. I have always been a dreamer. Those who know me well would say my dreams are the craziest on the block! So, when it comes to business and life, someone may knock you to the ground, just get back up and remember that there is a strength, something good coming from “it.”

I just recently really experienced the definiteness in truth and the confidence that results when you know the truth! It is a huge component of victory in every aspect of life. The truth is the truth, it can not be tainted or “off track.” Not if its truth, just seek the truth and the truth will set you free! I’m taking action, telling everyone about it. Most of all, I tell myself because I am on a mission to making a mark. I “feel with deep emotion” the difference I am making daily. I will reach as many of the 98% that are struggling in this great industry and will actively reach out as often as I am given a chance, to let that special someone know that “lack of success is NOT their fault.” I will roll into action with them and teach them all the skills they need for FREE to build a thriving home-based business, being a passenger in their vehicle to their dreams.

Action! Fear of ill health? I have a friend, a brother whose doctors’ gave up on his life 6 years ago. Really? I didn’t agree with that! The doctors’ told him Lime’s Disease I told him “you are healed by His stripes!” Yes, since than He has been praising God and rejoicing, believing. Thank you for believing with me. Action, actively expecting and believing as if it’s already been done! Along with that comes a growing Faith that cannot be shook! He takes action everyday because he looks up and we are believing God! My point is that we are so powerful friends! We have the power to imagine our life in detail as we move towards claiming ALL that is ours and I know its good, its promises fulfilled and full attainment of a prosperous plan that has been written specifically for each of us. We are able to “go to that place” anytime of the day, as we continue to make each step a step into reality of an incredible plan! I am excited for the journey and look forward to leaning on each other to implement the “Slight Edge” philosophy into our daily lives fearlessly taking action, doing a little bit on a consistent basis and watching the garden of dreams grow to the heavens! Something Beautiful!

These are all questions that I have been asking myself, pondering and really giving deep thought to these days. I have never felt so much emotion, so much conviction toward my dream. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to achieve every specific detail of your destiny? We are supposed to live life to the fullest, right? To truly take in the “power of now” cherishing each moment along the way in this journey to "Owning Your Life?" Is it worth it? Is your burning desire so strong that you can literally see yourself living your dreams NOW? Can you feel the feelings that thrives from within when we are able to convince our sub-conscious mind that we are already there? This is when it gets exciting!

It all starts with our thoughts. Isn't it great that we have the power to control those thoughts? Thoughts mixed with a definite purpose, blended with persistence, infused with a heated passion will indeed transpose into complete abundance and prosperity! Sounds like a brilliant recipe, doesn't it? Easy to do? Of coarse, but the problem is that it’s also easy not to do. Because it is just as easy not to do, the majority of the people don’t do it. Is that why 98% are floundering, achieving very little success in their current Network Marketing Company?

How do we acquire a real belief in our purpose and plan? If a person is lacking belief, can it be learned? One very effective tool that has been tremendously effective for me is the spoken word mixed with intense emotion and deep feeling that in turn develops a deeply rooted belief system. “I Believe” therefore my faith progresses and crystallizes into absolute faith. Remember, faith is the strongest and most productive of the emotions. Since recently discovering the power in auto suggestion, I finally have the confidence in knowing that I can and will achieve every detail of whatever the mind can conceive.

Keep on keeping on, no matter how hard the going may be! Know with full certainty that this journey of learning experiences, some good, some bad are all necessary to move through in order to prepare us for where we are right now! That’s right, you and I are right where we are suppose to be at this exact time. I had to learn my best lessons going through the wilderness. There was no going around. I look back on the chapters of my life and it was when I faced the most difficult challenges that life could throw me, was when God was breaking me for His perfect plan.

Let’s talk about that awesome plan. Is it worth it? If you didn’t have to worry about time or money, what would you do? What will this mean to your life? How could you impact the world if you had a walk away income of $10,000.00 per month coming into your household? How would you live your life? If there were no limits on what you could do, what would be the details and designs of your plan? Remember, nothing becomes dynamic, until it becomes specific!

It’s worth it my friends. It’s all worth it! The bruises, the scrapes the scars left behind, they are worth going through, to be Free and have choices! When we “Own Our Life,” we can help and lead countless people knowing ALL things are possible!

The Secret To Success Is Skills

Would it be okay if you had complete confidence in yourself, your company and All who are around you? If you were going to be a heart surgeon, would you announce your new title and start performing surgeries tomorrow? How about if your dream is to be a professional NFL football player, would you be able to graduate high-school and get right in the game? Would you be able to enter the field with complete confidence, knowing you have the skills to walk in victory? To be successful in any endeavor, the secret ingredient that will make you or break you is your skill level. Skills are the only thing that differentiates why one person is lavishing in success and another is bruised and beat up, weary and tired, thinking that their lack of success is their fault.

The secret is skills, with skills we will make it! We must be headed in the correct direction though, this is crucial. It’s like traveling to Iowa from Minnesota. What if you didn’t have accurate direction, do you take 35 East or 94 East to get there? Would this uncertainty shake your confidence? Isn’t it cool to know that you can always learn the skills you need to attain everything that burns within you. If you have skills you will indeed make it. Leaders’ are always striving to learn more, to become more and will be on a life journey to reaching out for more. Leaders’ are anxious to become more, never arriving because we are always thirsting for more wisdom and knowledge. We never get there, never to arrive, knowing with 100% confidence that we are always growing and moving through each detail of the specific purpose, the plan.

Let me give you an example to better clarify. There are 2 types of people, those who build their business as a hobby and those who are dead serious about building a thriving business, true business builders’. Those who are building their business as a hobby are not willing to learn the skills. They want it now, not willing to take the time and energy to develop the necessary skills to be totally successful. It takes action! What am I willing to give in order to get what burns within me? Business builders’ will be on a life mission to become All that they have been called to be. This commitment will be personal and really strong. Burning Hot!

One breakthrough that I have learned recently in gaining the appropriate skills is using the correct sequence of words when communicating with others. How would you feel if you had a man come knocking at your door saying “would you be interested in…..” What would your subconscious mind be saying? Let’s imagine that you are walking through Wal-Mart looking for energizer batteries. When you go to the check-out you feel led to strike up a conversation that may lead to you asking “have you found the opportunity that is going to provide for you and your family for the rest of your life?” What do you think that clerk might say? There is a pretty good chance that they may look at you and laugh asking “Do you think I want to work at Wal-Mart all my life?” Would this be a good time to hand them your card and say “when you start looking, call me.” I can bet you might have that clerk begging you for a presentation with this approach. The magic sequence of words is just one of the skills I have learned that has totally changed my life and business.
